Want to work in security?

To work in the security industry you must meet individual state licencing requirements; this includes successful completion of either the Certificate II in Security Operations or the Certificate III in Security Operations. HSS Security’s Registered Training Organisation, the HSS Training Academy (RTO 110044), can provide a recruitment pathway by delivering these nationally accredited training programs.

The benefit of undertaking your training with HSS Training Academy is that we can offer recruitment advice and employment opportunities upon completion of your course and after obtaining your security licence. Though employment cannot be guaranteed to graduates of the academy, we can provide vital information about the typical recruitment requirements of the industry, HSS Security’s selection process and details of positions available within our business. We can also provide you with guidance on resume design and interview preparation to ensure you can put your best foot forward when applying for positions. When recruiting we will consider graduates of the academy that are appropriately qualified, appropriately licenced, follow the job application process correctly and are deemed as suitably fit for employment into the relevant position.

Employees of HSS Security can look forward to the opportunity of further training by undertaking the Certificate III in Security Operations or the Certificate IV in Leadership and Management. This level of training enables us to provide nationally accredited qualifications at no cost to our trainees, and facilitates further up-skilling, knowledge and confidence for employees to carry out their job to a higher standard and further their career as a security officer.
